On-camera flash

Below is a short series of images all taken with the flashgun mounted on the camera, but never aimed directly at the subjects. I enjoy off-camera flash work but very often in the heat of battle during weddings, especially receptions, I feel on-camera flash is the way to go as it can provide lovely, soft light when used correctly and allow one to move from one scene to the next immediately. In most of these shots the flash has been bounced, and in one of them the flash is pointing directly upwards (in a very large centuries old building) with the Demp Flip-it! pushing a touch of light forward.
