While chatting to my friend Kevin late last year, he told me that he was getting married so I just dropped into the conversation the possibility of me shooting his wedding! Roll on a couple of months and I was really excited to head up north to Southport to shoot his and Carole’s wedding!
Kevin, being a man of many talents which includes being a pilot, collected me in Liverpool the day before the wedding and took me for a visit to the airfield where his flying club is located. Being a bit nervous of flying in small planes I was relieved that it was a little late and overcast by the time we arrived, whew. So we just had a nice look around in the hangar and a cup of coffee.
Kevin insisted I stay at their house. This time I would have my own room as opposed to the hotel room we shared in Philadelphia while attending a photography workshop a few years ago!
It was really nice being there to photograph a fellow wedding photographer, and friend’s wedding, to his beautiful wife Carole. Everyone was really friendly and hospitable and made me feel very welcome, which was lovely. For a change I have included a few more black and white photos in this set. I hope you enjoy…
