As a London wedding photographer, having the opportunity to cover Sushma and David’s Kew Gardens wedding photography was something I had been looking forward to since the moment they booked me. Kew Gardens is simply one of the most famous and spectacular botanical gardens not only in London, but in the entire world. Just the day before, I photographed their Hindu wedding at Chiswick House down the road from Kew. So I was back at Sushma’s house to capture her bridal preparation in the early afternoon before driving over to David’s house to capture some images of him getting ready, and putting the finishing touches to his speech! We also got the opportunity to capture some really lovely family shots before making our way to Kew Gardens for the ceremony in the Nash Conservatory.
Thankfully the rain which had been lashing down for most of the morning gave way to some more stable and thankfully dry weather. A while after the end of the ceremony in the beautiful Nash Conservatory I hopped on a golf buggy with David and Sushma to quickly get to some great spots for the couple portrait session. The sun very generously broke through the clouds at this very moment, which was great! Then on to the reception in the gorgeous Orangery for a really great evening of celebration and partying.
