Early last year Satty and Priya booked me for the Hindu wedding at the Radisson Edwardian Heathrow. A couple of months earlier I arranged access to Hedsor House for their engagement shoot, which is a fabulous venue in in itself. The Radisson Edwardian is a huge hotel catering for the many hundreds of guests who attended.
I kicked off covering some of Priya’s bridal preparation early in the morning. The moment I got word that Satty had left his nearby home I quickly made my way down to the hotel entrance for the reception of Bharat accompanied by drums and then followed by the milni. So after the two families had officially met each other it was time for an intimate civil ceremony attended by close family. Then we moved straight into the Hindu ceremony which was fantastic and very entertaining, with the priest offering some great words of wisdom! Satty and Priya looked amazing and you couldn’t wipe the smiles off their faces!
After a quick couple shoot it was time for the reception. This can only be described as one of the wildest wedding parties I can remember! After Satty and Priya made their entrance and cut the cake, there was a surprise flash mob dance by loads of the guests. What followed was hours of dancing and partying with the dance floor absolutely jam packed throughout. I managed a lucky escape after nearly being roped into a dance off myself!
Later on we departed for the Doli at firstly Priya’s house then Satty’s, which included some hilarious games. A very fun and enjoyable wedding!
