Wedding Photographer shoots Hedsor House charity event for Sport Relief

Last week I photographed a charity event at Hedsor House, Buckinghamshire, in aid of Sport Relief. Firstly, Hedsor House is one amazingly stunning venue, perfect for capturing gorgeous photography and filming. The vast grounds and beautiful building make for an exceptional wedding, or event venue. In my opinion, clearly one of the best I have seen in the UK. Members of the British Olympic rowing and kayak teams went head-to-head in a cooking competition, named “Hedsor’s Kitchen”. Three courses were prepared for around 140 guests and much fun was had by all. Besides for the rowing team coming up trumps, there was also an auction of various sports memorabilia and athletic training opportunities with top athletes.

Besides for serving starters on the standard trays, they were also served on rowing oars. Very clean, unused and purpose made oars for sure! There was another group of photographers capturing studio style event images of guests which were then printed and sold on the night for a minimum donation.

This event was a little different to what I usually do, i.e. as a wedding photographer, but thoroughly enjoyable. Overall very successful evening raising money for a very good cause!

Here are the teams psyching themselves up…
