Charlotte & Michael’s wedding at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich

A few weeks ago Charlotte and Michael got married at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich. Well it was sunny for some of the day, but the rain that arrived later did nothing to dampen the festivities! The venue without a doubt is one of the most spectacular in all of London, if not the UK. After some bridal preparation shots we made our way upstairs to a lovely room in the Admiral’s House for the ceremony. Thankfully the weather was kind enough to allow us to spend a good while outside and also to capture the group shots. Then Charlotte, Michael and I went off for a couple portrait session. Charlotte looked amazing – just scroll down and see – as did Michael of course! After lunch we walked over to the Trafalgar Pub in Greenwich for the reception.

Melissa & Mark’s wedding at La Manga Club, Spain

A couple of weeks ago I flew out to Spain to photograph the wedding of Melissa and Mark. I had very much been looking forward to this wedding for ages, for obvious reasons! Arriving the day before the wedding I had the opportunity to laze by the pool in the glorious hot summer weather for a good while, which made a very welcome change to our British summer….. On the day of the wedding I made my way down to the Hotel Principe Felipe, in the resort, to photograph Melissa’s bridal preparation. The hotel is very opulent and what a treat it was to have the opportunity to photograph in such an amazing venue! Then I hopped in the car with the videographers, Claudia and Miguel of www.wowweddingmedia.com, who were amazing by the way and are highly recommended! We made our way to the lovely little church for the ceremony after which we returned to the La Manga Club for the reception on the terrace of the hotel overlooking the golf courses and with amazing mountain and sea views. I want to go back!! Inma Sanchez, the events coordinator at the hotel, couldn’t have done more for us – she is extremely helpful and friendly and did a fantastic job looking after not only the guests but also myself, Claudia and Miguel. I just wish every event coordinator could be a clone of Inma! Mark and Melissa were absolutely amazing and such a joy to work with and I wish them all the happiness in the world!

Oh WOW, gorgeous! The photo’s, the couple, the location, the whole day! Was so great to be working with you David, I don’t think Melissa & Mark could have picked a better photographer for their amazing wedding day! Since that day I’ve been reading your blog and every time I’m impressed, the colours, the emotions you seem to capture perfectly as they are…

Best of luck and can’t wait to work with you again!

Lovely photos. Just love the lighting on the bridal prep shots!

Sushma & David’s Engagament shoot at London Bridge

I always love late afternoon engagement shoots. The sun is low in the sky and makes for gorgeous light. Sushma & David have their Hindu wedding and Registry weddings on consecutive days in a few weeks time. The three of us took the time to capture some lovely engagement photos around the London Bridge Station area. In fact a few weeks before the shoot I was in the area and when I saw what an excellent location it would make for an engagement shoot, I immediately suggested we go for it. Sushma and David were really up for it and I am very pleased to say we captured some gorgeous photos. It’s not just the actual moment that makes for great photos, but those little moments directly after they think I’ve bagged the shot – those unsuspecting shots are aften the best! Really looking forward to the wedding ceremonies in Chiswick House and Kew Gardens!

Becki & John’s wedding at Hunton Park, Hertfordshire

A couple of weeks ago, on an absolutely glorious summer’s day, the wedding of Becki & John took place. The venue for the bridal preparation shots was at Hunton Park, as was the reception, and I must say that without a doubt it is very spectacular with sprawling, landscaped grounds. After the bridal prep, it was off to the church for the ceremony at St Andrew’s in Chorleywood. Then it was back to Hunton Park for a lovely day of fun and festivities. Once again many congratulations to the lovely couple!
